Partner with the People Services team to analyze work process design and flow, improve processes, build project plans, ensure adherence to project schedules, maintain systems, and work effectively to set priorities and conduct long-term planning. Work with subject matter experts ensuring systems, process, and data function with integrity.


TYPICAL DAILY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to)

  • Develop written procedures, guidelines, documentation, handouts, and training presentations with the subject matter experts.
  • Manage projects and process improvement, including applying change management experience to facilitate movement to new levels of quality.
  • Act consistently with available facts, constraints, and probable consequences. Use these data to build project plans and ensure schedule and specification adherence.
  • Utilize interpersonal skills when working with People Services Team members to accomplish project goals.
  • Recommend process and people service improvements, innovative solutions, and policy changes.
  • Support accurate employee files.
  • Provide production support, including researching and resolving challenges, unexpected results, or process flaws; perform scheduled activities; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
  • Capture meeting notes and action items in strong detail.
  • Collaborate with the People Services team to understand and anticipate the needs of People Services and then provide support in creating or adjusting processes in a timely and effective way.
  • Maintain awareness of current and emerging trends in Human Resources with a focus on product and service development, delivery, and support, and applying emerging technology to enhance process effectiveness.
  • Maintain appropriate and accurate documentation and communication regarding all policies and processes.

Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
  • At least three (3) years of human resources (HR) or equivalent experience preferred
  • Project Management experience preferred
  • Instructional Design experience preferred
  • Construction experience preferred
  • Ability to see and acknowledge patterns in information and data
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Optimistic: looks for what can be done and creates, implements, and monitors a plan to achieve it on time and under budget
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Canva
  • Detail-focused, strong organization, and excellent at analyzing and synthesizing information
  • Thorough understanding of EEO, ADA, and other employment-related guidelines and laws
  • Team-focused with strong written and oral communication skills
  • Maintain strict confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications

The primary work location is in our Raleigh or Goldsboro office, depending on the ideal candidate's location. If the primary work location is in our Raleigh office, 2 days of travel to the Goldsboro office is required.
